How to Disable the Refund or Exchange Option from the Return Portal

If you’d like to disable refund or exchange options from your return portal, you can easily manage this using the resolution settings in your Exchange It app. While there is no direct on/off toggle for refunds or exchanges, the app allows you to control which resolution options appear in the portal by enabling or disabling individual settings.

Where to Find These Settings

  1. Go to your Exchange It app.

  2. Navigate to Settings.

  3. Select Portal Settings.

  4. Scroll to the Return Request Page section.

To Disable Refund Options:

There are two refund-related checkboxes:

  • Refund Original Payment Method

  • Refund mega method

To disable refunds completely, uncheck both of these options. Once unchecked, your customers will no longer see refund options in the return portal dropdown.

 To Disable Exchange Options:

There are three exchange-related options:

  • Exchange for any other product

  • Exchange for the same item

Exchange (tell us in the note)

To remove exchange functionality, uncheck all these options. This will ensure that none of the exchange options appear to customers in the return resolution dropdown.

 Optional: Custom Resolution Option

There is also a Custom Option you can enable for custom scenarios. If you don’t need it, simply leave it unchecked.

By customizing these resolution settings, you have full control over which return options are available to your customers.
