Branding Customer Emails With Your Logo and Shop Name
Updated Sep 29, 2026
Use this settings card to control how customer notification emails are branded — swap in your own logo and decide whether your shop name appears in the email header. Configure it once and the changes apply to the request confirmation, approval, declined, and return received emails.
Where to find it
Go to Settings > Notifications > Email Logo & Branding.
Set it up
-
Logo URL (Shopify CDN) — Paste the Shopify CDN URL of your store logo into this field. The image is shown in the approval, declined, and other customer emails. The URL must use a
cdn.shopify.comhost and the image must load successfully; if it doesn't, an error appears and the preview is hidden. When you enter a valid URL, the email previews update automatically and a logo preview box is displayed. This field is empty by default, and when left empty a default Exchange It logo is used instead. -
Hide shop name from emails — Turn this on to remove the shop name text from customer emails so that only your logo appears. The change is reflected immediately in the email previews above. This setting is off by default.
What changes when you turn this on
When you save the Logo URL (Shopify CDN) field, the app stores the CDN URL and, when a non-empty value is present, uses it as the logo in customer emails; when the value is empty the default Exchange It logo is used.
When Hide shop name from emails is off (the default), the app builds the email header from your store name. When it is on, the email header is set to an empty string, so no shop name text is rendered in the customer emails.
