Set Your Returns Portal Page SEO (Title & Meta Description)

Use Page SEO to control the page-wide metadata for your returns portal—the title shown in the browser tab and search results, and the meta description that appears beneath it in search listings. Set these when you want the portal to show branded, descriptive text instead of the defaults.

Go to Returns Portal > Customize Portal > Page SEO.

Prerequisites

Editing the primary-language title and description is available on any plan. Editing the second-language versions of these fields requires the Advanced plan.

Set it up

  1. Page Title — Sets the browser tab title and the page title used by search engines for the returns portal. The default is empty; when left blank, the portal falls back to the search page heading or a default of 'Returns & Exchanges'.
  2. Meta Description — Sets the meta description shown in search engine results for your returns portal page. The default is empty; if left blank, a default description is used.

As you type, the SEO preview panel shows how your title and description will appear in search results. These fields control page-wide SEO metadata, not any visible text in the portal body.

To edit the second-language versions, switch to the second language and enter the corresponding Page Title and Meta Description. Both second-language fields default to empty and require the Advanced plan.

What changes when you turn this on

Your entries are saved to the returns portal settings for the selected language. The Page Title value persists to portalPageTitle and the Meta Description to portalMetaDescription (with second-language values stored separately when the second language is active). The saved title and description feed the returns portal page's SEO metadata and the SEO preview, so search engines and the browser tab use your text instead of the defaults.

Plan requirements

The primary-language Page Title and Meta Description work on any plan. The second-language Page Title and Meta Description are Advanced-plan features.
